Rick Fabiani brings over ten years of real estate experience to Portal Realty. His first focus is always on understanding the client’s goals and helping find the most effective way to reach those goals. He has developed a reputation of being able to solve problems in difficult situations. Rick has an ability to understand the unique needs of clients.

Rick grew up in Gainesville, but graduated high school from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, in Jacksonville, where he was first chair Double Bass in the orchestra. He graduated from the Honors program at Santa Fe College and earned his B.A. from the University of Florida with a double major in anthropology and philosophy. Afterwards, he spent time as a policy researcher in Washington D.C., working on global food aid issues. He graduated from the Tulane University School of Law in 2008 where he was on the Board for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and practiced as a student attorney at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008, Rick also has his own law practice. He is the current president of the Rotary Club of Greater Gainesville and is a past member of the Eighth Judicial Bar Association Board.

Rick is still a musician, competitive fencer, and avid photographer. He was also a co-producer of the Tom Petty Birthday Bash music festival in Gainesville, celebrating the life and music of Tom Petty.
